The soil covers easily our bodies
quicker than we think,
then time has devoured us
the clouds are more dark than
lined with rain - and they shelter us
from the violent sun
the craze of vibrant man-days
the ever-present alacrity of hormone
grinding out a favour or a
trinket from the bowels
of the earth
then for a thousand years, or more
our spirit is compelled
by a Wise Hand to watch
the consequences of a single
life's span, as a ghost we watch
as a ghost we have to watch
as a ghost
for a 1000 years, or more...
