| I
was borne by the water - by the sultry sea, now broken waves - are all's left of me. Her hands reached out - and I did lunge, her black hair glowered - in the smould'ring sun. Her arms reached out - to hold me, I felt the cold - console me; And I know I can breathe underwater, I swear I can breathe - the cool blue water. Our bodies rippled warm - in the darkening sky, as the last drop of sun - sank within her eyes Her body slips between me - her eyes open wide, her soft wet mouth - a fishermans prize; and I know I can breathe underwater, I swear I can breath - the cool blue water. Deep ocean death - the pounding abyss, the taste of her breath - the salt of her kiss; and the waves make the sound, of someone singing - I wish. |
